SK Cobalt bands are created from BioBlu™27. BioBlu™27 is the whitest, most
superior and durable contemporary metal offered on the market today. It is so
white it mirrors that of Platinum, does not tarnish, and never needs to be plated.
It is 100% solid and will not chip or break.
BioBlu™27is formed by melting the natural elements of cobalt, chromium and
molybdenum into a homogeneous state and then cooled into a 100% solid form.
This process is exactly the same for all precious metals like Platinum, Palladium
or Gold.
This remarkable alloy has incredible durability, wear-ability, and extraordinary
resistance to shock and pressure. While BioBlu™27 is very hard, it is not brittle,
and allows for complete freedom of design.
This material has been shown to be hypoallergenic and is used successfully in
biocompatible devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
