Bezel Style

Setting Style

The setting is the mounting that holds your diamond in place.

Your choice of metal will affect not only the strength of the mounting, but also the radiance of the diamond. The setting must be strong enough to prevent breakage, and it should contribute to, rather than detract from, the brilliance of the diamond itself.

In this setting, the diamond is encircled by a metal rim or collar that can feature a straight or scalloped edge. The half bezel – in which the rim only surrounds part of the stone – is also an excellent choice.
