| Wedding bands are a symbol of love and marriage.
A wedding band is a circle to symbolize eternity; it has no beginning and no end, like time. The wedding band derived from the Egyptians, about 4800 years ago, and was usually worn on the fourth finger of the left hand, which is said to contain the vena amoris or "vein of love." This vein runs from the fourth finger to the heart, making it the perfect place to wear a wedding band. Ancient Egyptians wore wedding rings made of bone, straw, or wood, but today most wedding bands for women and men are made of platinum, gold, and/or diamonds and other metals. Diamond wedding bands are extremely popular for women and are gaining popularity for men too! Our tungsten wedding bands are also quite popular as men's wedding bands. Solomon Brothers have thousands of styles to choose from, but no matter which style you choose, the wedding band has and will forever hold special meaning for you and your loved one.
